Impending hepatic failure due to Plasmodium vivax Malaria: a case report

Abstract
Plasmodium falciparum is traditionally known for complicated malaria but Plasmodium vivax is now becoming a major culprit in many cases. We are presenting a case report of 16 year male patient presented with high grade fever with chills. He has abnormal liver function tests and coagulation profile. Peripheral blood film showed presence of Plasmodium vivax trophozite.
